Welcome to the Kilnhurst St Thomas' Primary Academy website! We’re delighted to share a glimpse into the wonderful and enriching experiences our children enjoy at our school.

We are incredibly proud of our busy, friendly school community. Our aim is to provide a secure, inclusive, and caring environment where every individual is valued and respected. In May 2022, Ofsted rated our school as “Good,” and we were thrilled by their recognition of St Thomas’ as a “welcoming, friendly and nurturing school” where “the staff team have a unique bond, underpinned by the desire for all pupils to achieve their full potential.”

Our Christian ethos and values are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to nurturing our children’s spiritual development through an understanding of Christianity and an appreciation of other world religions.

At St Thomas’, we are dedicated to preparing our children for life in the 21st century. We believe that learning should be enjoyable, meaningful, and something every child can take pride in. We also deeply value our partnership with parents and carers, recognising that strong collaboration is essential to every child’s success.
